On another note, Spouser arrives back from South Carolina today and it couldn't be soon enough for me! The Bean and I haven't slept well for the last 2 nights because he was gone, and I just feel unsettled and bored when he's not here to entertain me with stories about his friends and their new vehicles, or his coworker's photography. Welcome home!
We will most likely go to a movie tonight - but can't decide whether to see Eclipse or The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I'm okay with either one and am just glad to be getting out of the house without worrying about bringing extra pull-ups and 14 baby dolls. The Bean is hanging out with her BFF Adrian for a few hours, and God Bless Kelli for watching her for us!!!
This weekend, we are planning to go to the lake with our friends, The Thors-es. I'm kinda scared b/c I'm a wuss about my kid being on a boat (Even if it's a BIG boat) and I'm not the greatest swimmer. However, it'll be a great time for us to get away, chillax, and sip some brews with our buds after the kids to go sleep. I just don't want to pack! We've been out of town for 3 of the last 4 weekends, and if I never see another suitcase it'll be too soon.
My preferred candidate didn't win the GOP runoff election yesterday and that makes me sad. I still think the guy who won would be a good governor, but he wasn't my favorite and now I'll never get to go to a wedding reception in the back yard of the Governor's Mansion in Montgomery. Boo.
I'm jonesing for some tuna salad really bad right now because I just read a blog with a recipe that sounded AWESOME. Unfortunately, we have no sweet pickle relish in the house so I guess I will just have to a) go buy some or b) get over myself. Right now, my vote is for B.
