Fruit of the Week

I am such a bad blogger not to publicly announce that we are going to have another baby!

Needless to say, the Bean is beyond excited, as are TJ and I. We are due May 4, and will find out the gender a few weeks before Christmas. I've signed up on Babycenter.com to receive weekly updates as to the growth and development of Bean #2, and have been enjoying each week's size analogies. For example, this week (15 weeks), the baby is roughly the size of an apple. Since the majority of these comparisons are to pieces of fruit, TJ and I have begun referencing the "fruit of the week". This week it's an apple, last week was a lemon, before that, was a fig. I have also been learning about new and exotic fruits, such as kumquats (week 10). It's been quite enlightening.

Other than that glaring omission, there's not really a whole lot to share right now. I've been feeling fine, if a little tired, and haven't had any sickness to speak of. I'm only just getting out my old maternity clothes again and facing the grim reality that I'm too big for my regular clothes, and too small for most of my maternity stuff. Hopefully Bean #2 will hit a growth spurt in the next few weeks so I can be marginally stylish ;-)
